A re-valve involves changing shim settings, parts and tolerances based on the riders preferences, discipline, skill level, weight, and riding style.
Upon teardown - bushings, seals, tubes, pistons and bands, taps and nuts are all inspected, cleaned, resurfaced, or replaced if needed. Previous settings are recorded and rider feedback on previous setting is taken into consideration when building the new setting. The suspension is then rebuilt with the new setting and parts if needed, o-rings and seals are greased, and Loctite is applied in appropriate locations.
Each re-valve is given 1 free setting change based off rider feedback if the rider is not satisfied. This must be done within a window of 3 days of receiving, installing, and riding the newly re-valved set (parts and shipping not included).

Some people want to try the stock valving that comes from the manufacturer, and we honestly can’t blame you for that, but having the correct springs for your weight is a crucial part of testing the stock setting.
Depending on how many hours are on the bike/suspension, a service would be recommended in addition to a spring change.

Sometimes people just want something a bit more personal on top of what the OEMs offer. It can be special coatings, custom color anodizing (there is a difference between coatings and anodizing), special tuning parts, or whatever you would like to come up with. Let us know what you have got burning a hole in your brain.
At some point, it becomes art and the creativity process cant be rushed. Lead times will vary for a custom build.

Test days are extremely beneficial for the serious racer/rider. A lot of questions can get answered by watching the bike and rider. A test day can then formulate a plan for a setting change or another test day. They can take place at the track or out on the trail of your choice.
Driving distance may vary and fuel, hotel, and accommodations are additional if necessary.
Our Process
Disassemble
Suspension material is disassembled and cleaned. All assemblies are broken down and cleaned of oil, dirt, grease, and loctite.
Inspect
All surfaces, o-rings and shims are carefully inspected once cleaned. Piston surfaces are also checked for imperfections. The slightest imperfection can create a major difference in feel on the bike if done improperly.
Replace
All wear items are replaced as needed with high quality OEM parts or any aftermarket that has been previously tested and been proved to be better than OEM. O-rings, seals, and bushings are replaced.
Assemble
Suspension is then assembled to current or new setting specifications. All O-rings and seals are greased and loctite is applied to the correct threaded components. All taps and nuts are torqued to specification.
